Marcus has over 20 years of professional experience and a deep passion for design ranging in scale from a small detail in a building to urban design and cities, including urban policies that incentivize smart and equitable communities. Marcus has been at GBD since 2005 and has been involved in a wide variety of project types including multi-family housing, higher education, institutional, master planning and corporate headquarters. Currently, Marcus is working on concept design for a high-rise residential project in the north end of the Pearl District in Portland, as well as overseeing construction administration for a residential project with 132 for-rent units located in the Central Eastside of Portland. He is also managing a large-scale mixed-use project in Los Angeles, which is slated to be a catalyst in creating a new vibrant neighborhood in the heart of the City.
Outside of GBD, Marcus enjoys traveling to new places, camping trips, running, beers with friends and keeping up with the latest tech in cars.
