Jordan Ramis
Portland, ORJordan Ramis’ new office represents a significant step forward in enhancing the firm’s presence in Portland, Oregon. Previously located in the suburbs of Lake Oswego, Jordan Ramis relocated to the heart of downtown, occupying the 27th floor of PacWest Center. With many organizations choosing to leave the downtown core, Jordan Ramis wanted to demonstrate the firm’s commitment to Portland and provide an innovative, progressive space for employees and clients.
Visitors are greeted with an expansive reception area, including visibility into a glassy boardroom and a semi-secluded break room. Instead of a traditional layout, Jordan Ramis opted for a progressive, public-facing breakroom to capture every inch of daylight and landscape. This expansive reception area doubles as a hospitality zone, allowing large events and company-wide meetings to flow through the three zones. The best views of the Willamette River and Mt. Hood were intentionally saved for these common areas to ensure all have access. After their brand refresh, Jordan Ramis wanted their physical space to reflect their new identity. Subtle nods to the new logo were integrated through the space. Angled baffles, lighting, wood paneling, gypsum board reveals, and other materials were thoughtfully selected to represent the angled logo and direct the viewer’s attention upward and outward to stunning 360-degree views. A dark navy blue wraps the entire interior core, providing contrast to the daylight streaming in on the opposite side of the corridor while mirroring the landscape of the PNW terrain.
The new Portland office represents the flexibility, innovation, and responsiveness Jordan Ramis carries to the future. Hybrid work solutions were thoroughly investigated and implemented through hotel offices, legal assistant stations, integrated AV technology, and a dedicated virtual meeting room. The office not only equips Jordan Ramis for the next generation of work but also provides a model for law firms in the Portland market and beyond.
