When KPFF chose to renew their full-floor lease in the U.S. Bancorp Tower, they partnered with GBD Architects to reimagine their workplace, focusing on modern standards and a revitalized office culture. Embracing the opportunity to start fresh, GBD worked closely with the KPFF team to create an open, dynamic, and engaging environment tailored to how they work today.

Stripping the space back to its core allowed the design team to draw direct inspiration from KPFF’s thoughtful work and impact on the local natural and built environment, resulting in expressive organic forms and a unique custom pipe art installation. The material palette reinforces these natural themes, thoughtfully integrating biophilic elements to enhance employee well-being.

Throughout the process, GBD collaborated closely with the contractor and furniture procurement team to deliver a cohesive, well-crafted space that brings the client’s vision to life. KPFF’s deep connection to the community is also celebrated through partnerships with local artists, adding unique character and authenticity to the workplace.
