The Meriwether – South Waterfront

The Meriwether is located in Portland’s South Waterfront District. The project consists of two residential towers, rising to 21 and 24 stories, above a retail and townhouse base. Completed in 2006, this project was the first of a series of “point towers” that line the edge of the Willamette River.

The Meriwether was designed in conjunction with Busby Perkins+Will and consists of 240 living units and 12,000 sf of retail space. The units are divided among the two high-rise towers and the two and three story townhouse units.

A landscaped courtyard, ecoroofs, rainwater harvesting and sustainable materials are some of the visible aspects of this environmentally-responsible building.
