PacificSource wanted to stay away from the corporate office environment status quo and create a place that felt comfortable, inviting and warm but most importantly unique to them.
With their history in the local logging industry, the design team focused heavily on leveraging the beauty of the Oregon white oak species into the design. Radiused corners is a key design move at special moments and circulation paths to help soften the interior architecture and bring a custom touch to the office environment. The palette is light and bright, with focus on light colored natural wood and nature inspired green and blues.

When PacificSource first acquired the building, its impromptu modifications through its life had left it feeling chopped up, disjointed and unfinished. Throughout this 400,000 SF building, common area interventions to the interior form helped support the unified language of the project and allowed the inviting nature of PacificSource to bleed into the multi-tenant portion of the building.
